Sorry for not updating!

Our blog has been not posting the notes for the following months: December and January

Thank you to the parent who contacted the school and letting us know! We appreciate it!

Conferences are the week of Feb. 8th through 11th. Please be looking for notes from your child's teacher for their dates and times.

Kansas Day and Hundredth Day of School is on Friday, January 29th. We will be doing many activities that day. We also have Art, so it is going to be a busy day!

Math: We are currently in Unit 5 and are really working hard on learning how to count mixed groups of coins. Also, please ask your child about the function machine/In and Out Machine. Please continue to work on telling time to the half hour and now the quarter hour.

Notes for Week of November 16th - 20th

Math: We will continue to work on counting and exchanging money for the rest of the year. Please continue to work your child on recognizing the different ways to make the same amount.

Upcoming events: We go to school Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 25th next week. Then its Thanksgiving Break! Have a wonderful time with your families!

Math: We are working on telling time to the hour and the half hour. Please work with you child on practicing the difference between addition and subtraction. Also, there will be math homework over Frames and Arrows.

Math: We are working on counting different combinations of nickels and pennies. We will soon be counting mixed combinations with dimes, nickels, and pennies. Please be working on this with your child.

Math:
We have been working on identifying and counting pennies and nickels. Give them a group of mixed pennies and nickels to count that would be great practice. We are also working towards our new goals:
1. Identifying and counting pennies.
2. Identifying and counting nickels.
3. Telling time to the hour.

REMEMBER

PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW, OCTOBER 1ST!
